Episodes 5-7 always hit me the most. A Vet lived on the floor below where i grew up, who went across Peleliu. We never knew where he'd fought, other than him being in the 1st Marines. It wasn't until he passed away that we found out he had a Japanese battle flag, Officers Katana, and a Nambu Machine Gun sitting in the closet under my brothers bedroom. Knew a lot of people who worked in the catering business, really stressful due to how picky certain people are with catering. I remember my co workers making entrees the entire day for catering and customers would be upset over the smallest things like detailing. They’re nice people too which sucks because there would just get yelled at for nothing just because a customer is picky about presentation. I will always have respect for people in that business, be grateful for any meal someone makes for you because never know if it’ll be your last.

This is easily my favorite mcu film maybe because when all phase 1-3 all the movies kept coming out as great and they kinda blend in together but after endgame the movies been all kinda just mid tbh so when this came out it and was great made it stand out even more from the crowd

Sobel gets a really bad rap, which I understand because he is such an asshole. But he does technically make a great drill sergeant and enforces a really strong structure. I'd say he is a large part of why the company did so well over the course of their time. Only the absolute best could make it through their training.

The masterpiece of this movie from a directing standpoint was making you think the focus of the movie was about Kate and from her perspective. Then as the story of Alejandro unfolds, you realize the movie is about him and his story arc.

Russo was not in the book, but was a good added character. In the book, the homicide detective was ex partner of the Langston character and was a bad guy too. And paid for it. Russo was a much better character. The helicopter scene was different but a good action sequence anyway.

Ive watched countless reactions to this series and this episode and you're the first to openly acknowledge the weight that fell on the shoulders of the translator when he had to tell the prisoners to go back into the camp. I'm a vet and I've seen things that i wish i could unsee but i cannot imagine the mental anguish associated with having to tell those poor bastards to go back in..... Even if it's ultimately for their own good.

Great reaction! Your reactions at the end of the episode... the silence! I'm actually surprised you didn't cry at those last scenes... I had so much anxiety watching this episode (this whole season I have to say). That scene where Jax is saying goodbye to the guys and you know what he is going to find at home... and then that last scene... so heartbreaking! Had to take a break from watching before starting season 7😅

He wanted to be apart of the wrestling business but his body was really sickly and couldn’t handle the constant abuse that goes with such a high contact sport.
